We normally don’t insert such a lengthy Consumer Statement, however, this one was so special, we
thought we should share it!! Dear Profectiv, Before I started using your products I could not wear my hair down in
the summertime especially not in weather that was over about 75 – 80 degrees.
My hair would start “frizzing up” and was hard to comb and manage. Even if I
had a relaxer it would just “act up” and since it was
straightened it would lose it’s curl and just “go
limp”. The humidity in the air would always wreck havoc with my hair and also
if it rained it would mess it up as well. Now, there is such a huge difference in not only the texture of my hair
but also in it’s ability to withstand the humidity,
high temperatures and the rain. It has been averaging between 90 – 96 degrees
here lately with the heat index even higher but for the first time in my life I
have actually been able to wear my hair down even under these unbearable
conditions. My regimen includes the following: every morning I massage my scalp
with the Root Health crème then I apply the Growth N’ Healing anti-thinning
circulation stimulant around my temples and nape area also sometimes on my
scalp then I apply a small amount of the BreakFree
crème lightly all over my hair and finally I apply the Healthy Ends crème
on my ends. Then I just finger wave my hair that I set the night before.
I normally do not brush my hair. At night, I spritz
my hair lightly with water from a water spray bottle then I pin curl it with
large hair pins. I use a silk cap to sleep on and leave it up for about 4-5
hours or more. Once a month I use the “Relax and Refresh” which is the relaxer and mousse
hair color all in one. I just love it! You don’t have to do two separate
processes (one for the relaxer and one for the
color). The neutralizing shampoo actually has the hair color
in it; after you relax your hair and rinse it well then you put on the
mousse which not only neutralizes your hair but colors it at the same time
(just follow the directions on the container). I have found that the color
works best if you towel dry your hair between applications. The last thing I would
like to say about the Relax and Refresh is that the color is so natural
looking. I like my hair to be black which is a bit
darker than my natural shade but until now I could never find anything that
looked as natural as this product. The relax and refresh
that I use is “silky black”. The other brands looked just like shoe polish. My hair did not grow for about 10-15 years but now it is starting to
grow and it looks nice and full. Prior to the use of your products, my hair was
breaking off and falling out due to the fact that it was over processed. The relaxer that the hairdresser had used on my hair was too
strong because even though my hair is dry it was not real thick .I used to go
to the hair salon about once every two weeks and I had it relaxed every six
weeks. I was averaging about $100 a month on the hairdresser now I only spend
about $20.00 a month on the Strength of Nature products. Now, I notice that my
hair is thicker than what it was before as well. The other thing is that my
hair is extremely dry but I have noticed that your products keep my hair
moisturized and looking nice all day long. Also, my hair holds the set all day
and looks just as good as it did when I first took the pins out in the morning.
To sum it all up, I highly recommended the above products and all of the
Strength of Nature products. I am
proof that they work. I have received a lot of compliments from people in
regard to how nice my hair looks and that’s when I tell them all about your
