On June 10th, 2011, Mario de la Guardia, Sr., Strength of Nature Global owner, was honored with the city of Savannah Proclamation. Van Johnson, Savannah's Alderman, conducted this highly esteemed presentation to Mr. de la Guardia Sr. on the eve of his 80th birthday.

The city of Savannah is reserving a special honor for a Cuban immigrant who came to the city several decades ago. Savannah Alderman Van Johnson honored Mario De la Guardia with a special city proclamation. A Savannah figure for 40 years, De la Guardia established the strength of Nature Global and was president of Carson Products. He was also president of the Broad Street YMCA.
